  • Organized an enterprise wide refresh of in-store servers (affecting nearly of the 1000+ AEO stores) where all In Store Processing (ISP) virtual machines were upgraded from Windows 2012 to Windows 2016 completely remotely without any staff on site
    • Created detailed checklists for the end to end process, from the downloading of 20+ gigs of data over unreliable connections prior to the refresh, to a step by step process on the day of refresh and tracking and reporting to the CIO daily of the status of the project
    • Despite delays due to changes required in the Oracle POS stack installed on the ISP, the team was able to complete the refresh prior to the end of support for Windows 2012

  • Integrated WebSphere Portal with other IBM software packages such as Lotus Quickplace and Connections and external systems such as Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Secured a complex Department of Defense (DOD) system by following security technical implementation guides (STIG) provided by DISA, receiving ATO (Authority to Operate) to go live
  • Supported development team Java code releases, and coordinated with testing team and client to identify and resolve issues using Rational toolset
